In the last chapter of “Anti-troll tools and techniques”, we described a series of methods for detecting and filtering the so maddening troll users: (i) knowledge discovery, (ii) data mining and (iii) text mining. Here, we present a new batch of methods to carry out this arduous task. Feature selection, the influence of domain knowledge and domain-specific procedures play an important role in text mining. Therefore, an adaptation of known data mining algorithms based on the experience and results of research in information retrieval, natural language processing and information extraction is necessary. In all these areas, mining methods and statistical data also apply to manage their specific tasks.
